Deciding from whether Comet or Sidekick LX 2009 of T-Mobile?...?

I had the Sidekick lx for a year and a half, and just last month it broke. Long story. But then I called costumer service, and they said I can buy a new one (off of Ebay or something) and then just transfer the SD card into the new one, so that way it'll be just like...switching into a new body, but same person. Anyways, its a good phone,but it has a few minor cons. I'm pretty tired of it, and want to buy a new phone instead. That phone is the Comet...In a phone, I just look for texting,IM,and web browsing. That phone has Wi-Fi and all those other things. Can you guys please help me decide which phone I should choose? I dont really want a Sidekick just so it'll die on me again. The battery, i mean. It completely stopped charging out of nowhere. It's a good phone, though. Just got tired of it...So...help me decide???

Obviously Comet, Android 2.2 beats the shit out of a Sidekick anyday. androids are actually better than blackberrys. All people like about blackberrys is tht everyone has it blah blah blah, bbm. u know what FUCK BBM . Get the Comet, even if it has Android 2.1, just get it.
