Dell Inspiron 1525- connecting to the internet?

Alrighty, so I've had my laptop since the summer. But recently, a few weeks ago, i must have downloaded too much crap or something because my laptop would NOT work. So, i erased my hard drive, since that was my only option. But now, i want to be able to go online. (I'm using my house computer right now). But how do i do this? Like which CD do i need? Or do i not need one? And like obviously i have wireless connection, but everytime i try to connect, my laptop says it couldn't find any wifi. PLEASE help me!!

By the way, i use internet explorer, and have windows vista on my laptop. Thanks!
 
Sounds like you didn't install the driver for your laptop wireless card. You can either install it from the driver disk that came with your laptop or download it (From Dell Driver website) and save it to a flash drive from another computer then plug it in your laptop and install the driver.
