Whenever I hold down any character key, the touchpad doesn't move the cursor at all. There is no orange light displayed above the keypad which should light up when it is disabled. I installed the latest drivers, updated windows, disabled palmtracking and nothing worked. I know that the touchpad itself isn't broken because the small touchpad icon indicates that the computer is getting a signal from it even when I hold down a character key. I believe there is a setting which disables the touchpad when typing, as there was in windows 7, but I can't seem to find it in windows 8.Thanks</blockquote>
