what is it? how do i do it?
what are the benefits/detriments?
what is bricking and can it be reversed?
 
jailbreak is opening the ipod to beyond apples standards and rules.
Its legal and easiest way is http://www.jailbreakme.com just slide the
switch n boom it does it FREE.
Benefits you can get free apps, change everything about your ipod,
free movies, free music, and you can do stuff you cant do with any
other ipod. The possibilities are endless with jailbreaking.

Bricking is caused by software coding that can not be reversed, it can not be
reversed thats why it is called bricking. turns it in to a brick. If you do not mess
with the THEMES, and stuff that RUNS the ipod you dont need to worry about
bricking.
