Well I've always done this thing where in long conversations I don't say who's speaking. I picked it up when reading Wolf Brother, I think it was that book, so now some people probably wouldn't be able to understand my writing. Its more like this (I just make this up right now, it's going to be terrible):
Calum started speaking to me first first, "I haven't seen you in a while. What you been up to?"
"Not much really, nothing has happened since you've been away."
"Something must have happened, no fighting, arguing...nothing?"
"No"
Frank shouted through from the other room, "There has been fighting, we just didn't tell her!"
"Can't you trust me, damn you people."
"So there's been more fighting than you claim then?"
Yeah, that is from no where, I just made it up but is that confusing, do you know when someone is speaking and when someone else is speaking?
sorry but yes is a bit vague, can you not say 'yes it's confusing' or 'yes I can understand it at least'? I don't know what you mean!
