this God's sense of humor again? In the early 1800s, a large volcanic eruption in Indonesia caused climates all over the world to change because of the thick layer of reflective particles above the cloud layers reflecting back the sun.
In the US, it was called "the year with no summer" because winter lasted about 18 months. I think it was 1804 or 1806.
And what better place to cool the earth's temp than in Europe, where those pinheads still cling to the global warming fraud?
(And what better time than in the early spring to shut down all those hot summer beach days in the south of France?)
(It's not the ash that reflects the heat, actually. There have to be metallic particles in the ash, which is common. Volcanic material usually includes the minerals at the base end with basalt and iron.)
