After that Ad, Chrysler Sales went through the roof!

72 Billion of the 82 Billion Auto Bailout has been paid back, and when Chrysler goes public next year, they will easily pay back 100% of their loan plus interest.
 
I live in the Detroit area and that ad was powerful and true. I'm extremely grateful that the president took the steps necessary to save our last true manufacturing industry. If he hadn't, this wouldve been a hell of a lot worse around here, which is very hard to imagine.

Marvelous! Now, if we can just get their assembly line workers to quit smoking weed and drinking on their lunch breaks....
