Didn't Bible-god just jump in and take credit for what had already happened?

Example 1: The evolution of humans. God said, "I did that! I created them from dust!" Now even some Christians give god credit for "guiding" the evolutionary process.

Example 2: The rainbow. "Look what I just now made! Ain't it purdy?"

Doesn't he seek credit for things he never did?
 
"God" gets credit for everything. Doctors that study their butts off for years don't even get credit for saving a persons life. Its sad and sickening.
