I want to connect audio from my computer, which is running sound off of my mother board Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L (rev 2.0), to my home theater system HT-BD1250. I know they both have optical connectors, but when I looked into cables I seen terms like TOSLINK, JIS F05, S/PDIF, ADAT Lightpipe, which I have no idea about. From the mother boards website it looks the the digital out is optical S/PDIF Out connector, so I guess I am looking for one of those? But my home theater system doesn't really say what cables to use, just that is has two optical inputs. Will S/PDIF be compatible with my home theater system?
