I currently have Comcast's triple play deal for about $170/mth for one year. This includes Internet, HBO, Starz, Showtime and phone. I was curious to anyone who has DirecTV if they have bundles that are better priced for the same amount of services. Is it worth the switch?
All the problems I have been having with Comcast's services has me about ready to throw up my hands in defeat. I was thinking about switching to DirecTV but wanted to talk to someone who has it, away from all the introductory prices, etc.
What is it really going to cost me after that first year? Do I have to pay for the whole year upfront? Must I have a contract? Will I receive my local channels? Is it a great deal more to include DVR and HD services? What about a box in a different room? Do they offer internet and how much does that cost?
I have looked up information on the internet but I can't seem to find anything other than the same old deals you see everywhere. I'd rather not get locked into something that ends up being much more expensive than I am willing to pay.
