Directv PPV Online Order Woes?

I have the Directv Plus HD DVR box. It is not connected to a phone line or ethernet. I am trying to get it connected to a phone line but this is not a permanent solution for me. the problem is when I order movies from directv.com, they do not show up on my tv. instead, a gray screen appears which wants me to call their customer service to order. I have already been billed for this movie, but it says I have not ordered it! any advice would be helpful.
 
hmm the phone line is what tells the receiver to let you watch it direct tv has to send the signal to the recevier itself via phoneline
