Dish Network said Im covered for transition but do I have to get locals from them?

I'm holding a Dishnetwork thing and it says to not have your channels lost add a local network package through dish does that mean i HAVE to get locals through them because i have Americas top 100 not with the + so im guessing that dosent include locals so do i have to get locals. Because i dont like the looks of those converters
What i meant to say i dont want my tvs not to work so do i have to get locals with dish to keep it
 
Well, You can get Americas Top 100 package without locals, but without locals on your package, they add a $5.00 fee every month. So in your situation, I would say just to get Locals to save $5.00!
