dislocated thumb keeps popping out of the joint?

HI!
The other day I posted about my dislocated thumb and got some wonderful answers....
well as an added question - and update lol.
the thumb keeps popping out of joint.
it will hop out and slide sideways sort of down into the back of my hand a bit.
when it does that it gets reaaaaaaaaly sore and locked up... (bent)
ill tug it and slide it sideways back into the socket and massage it a bit and it feels better.
this has happened about 4 times since the initial injury.
time to see a dr ?

My thumb dislocates from the bend/joint, even when I pull off my washing up gloves. then slightly swells and feels stiff. My Doctor said it's 'Le fin du la vie' !!! I'm 45 yrs old.
