Well I think your confused with the functions of the technology of the G sedan. The Newley redesigned G Sedan debuted in 2007 and was sold across America as a G35 sedan from the year 2007-2008 untill the year 2009 when the G sedan was labled a G37 sedan because it was given a bigger engine but the car still remained the exact same as the 2007, the 2009 was just faster, it is a 3.7 litter engine which led to its name the G37 sedan and coupe. All newley redesigned G-sedans from the years 2007-2010 come equipped with a standard LCD screen that helps you look at fuel economy, skim through settings on your ipod, controll radio and sound settings etc etc. The LCD screen looks just like the Navi screen except you get the LCD even without opting for the Navi package. You only get the touch screen in all infiniti vehciles if you opt for the Navigation system. If you dont get the Navi package then youll have to use the scroller near the screen or use the mounted steering wheel buttons as well as the buttons on the dash. Base models do not get touch screens, just the LCD. The same goes for the Coupe, youll get the LCD but you will need to opt for the Navi package for the touch screen. The first Package is a Base G, then the second Package is the (Journey package) which has handsfree blue-tooth technology, heated seats, auto dimming rearview mirror, memory seats, tilt telescopic steering wheel, and the X package has everything the Journey package has but it has the technology package etc etc.
