dogs, cats and ferrets? Do you beileve in of of these raw feeding myths?

Dogs fed raw turn evil (thats the most ridiculous myth) who came up with that lol!!
Dogs fed raw will get parisites, e coli and salmonella
(Just because people get sick from it does not mean dogs do!!)
Dogs will choke on raw bone. cooked bone is safer.
(not true!! it's vice versa)
I know many of you go by the philosophy" if I dont want to eat it why should my dog have to" I think this rule should be used if you make a homemade diet. this rule is not always true. Raw meat is terrible for humans and works like pure magic on cats, dogs, and ferrets.

I highly encourage you to actually do some research on the benefits of a raw diet.

Here are two of my favorite articles.

Could you guys tell me what you think??? of raw feeding. and haters. tell me your reasons why you think raw feeding is not the answer.
raw feeder for 6 months, my dog is well and thriving
to be truthful a raw diet is not nearly as healthy as a healthy raw diet.
sorry I meant dog food is not as healthy as raw. s

Yea i always heard that raw meat was bad for dogs and that you shouldn't give them the taste of blood. Where do these theories come from? Sure that's not true is it?

true that dog's and other animals have different stomachs than humans.. meaning, different enzymes, different tolerances and different microbiological organisms (fauna)... so they can eat different things than we can and be just fine.
Raw meats, bones etc are fine for dogs.. I wouldnt feed them it ALL the time, but they LOVE reverting to their primal instincts of "devouring a kill"... sled dogs for example exist for weeks off raw meats and snow (for water) and they are healthy as horses!
very interesting question!
