Do atheists have nothing to do but to "profess their beliefs" and whine on R&S?

I'm adressing this to atheists that go out of their way to call religious people idiots. Seriously, do you even have a life outside atheism and trolling people because of their beliefs? (Not unlike a racist, who hates someone because of an integral part of their identity.)
 
My theory was this, that atheists became atheists simply because they love to crush people who believe in things that they could not possibly grasp. Or, that they never witnessed God in their lives, so they crushed the idea of His existence.
I don't hate atheists who mercilessly harp on religion. Rather, i pity them and their foolishness. I believe in life after death, it is very very real to me. Atheists on the other hand believe in nothing, so they have very little to look forward to. Poor chaps will figure out soon enough the truth about religion.


As to a previous comment about Christians and the Bible. How stereotypical of you to imply that we carry around bibles and read it every single moment of our lives while crossing ourselves every time we hear a profanity uttered.
If you met me, you would not know that i was a Christian unless i told you.
 
Where did the oxygen come from ..... The planet earth did not carry an oxygen atmosphere from the beginning. Though oxygen could arise from radiation mediated water splitting, these processes were not efficient enough to create a global gas atmosphere. Oxygen in the latter is a product of the photosynthetic activity of early green organisms. Only after biological mass-formation of oxygen the UV-protective ozone layer could develop. Adam & Eve had no ozone protection based on this evidence.
 
It's actually a deep-down insecurity and they look to
each other for justification and back-up, with a vague
hope that their numbers might somehow 'repel' God
when the time comes to eventually face Him.

I'm with you a little bit...and i got hazed in my intro to yahoo awhile ago..but i still think christians and hindus and jains and buddhist and jews and muslims should be all over this section so that we could learn about religion without be zinged by god sucks or mary was ho comments...give me a break... i still want an athiest section and to this someone mentioned segregation and thats it never a good thing...and to that i say what are you talking about when I go to this part of yahoo its like going to church i don't expect to see aetheist in church what the hell...i just thought they were being rude in the religous section...I wouldn't go to aetheist gathering and hand out fliers and pray for your soul....and anyone who would is just as whack as aetheist who hangs out on the religous sites and zings people.....seriously wouldn't every self respecting aetheist freak if i came to your gathering and handed out the gita and said yoga is the way... wouldn't you think i was nuts....i think you all should leave the religous site and get your own site or treat people with respect

not with horrendously rude statements like god is imaginary or any of the countless intentional cruel statements...leave...

Now if you want to have a great atheist site i think we should get yahoo to put one up...everyone needs a forum and deserves respect in that forum...i'd even go to it sometimes to check out the ideas but the atheist are here are doing little more than mocking and looking down their noses and that is just bad manners....but it does make me laugh that some atheist want to talk about religion when what they really want is fight.....its like the x boy friend or girl friend who can't get over there X ....they just come for a good smack down..its a bit funny and pathetic...i thought your question deserved a real answer so i did my best...and yes the do sound like they are whining...i wonder if these are new atheitsts and part of the whine is like me quiting smoking...or something....i move we get the aetheists a new site...they deserve it and it doesn't cost nothing...
