I'm only asking because my chapters aren't all "exactly" the same length. I wanted to rough it out so they were roughly the same length (In Microsoft word when not formatted correctly ((times new Roman with a single space) they're about 10-15 pages). I currently have 254 pages (unformated) (500+ when formatted correctly) spanned across 22 chapters, which gives 11.5 pages roughly per chapter (give or take).
The only problem is that I've noticed some chapters go over a little bit because it's keeping with the subject, or some chapter's cut off much shorter because the subject/event ended there.
Do the Chapters have to be the same length, or can they vary for storytelling purposes?
