[QUOTE="NotofThisWorld, post: 2382329, member: 132271"] I a 16 yr old guy. I have recently been dieting 700-1000 calories a day and running 6-10 miles every day to lose weight. I am sure these may be malnutrition. But when I ran today (after Friday's weight lifting) my muscles felt very sore and ached a lot (mostly chest muscles). Yesterday my stomach had hurted and felt like I had flu. I was really hungry 2 hours ago and when I ate food to satisfy my hunger I got diarrhea (diahrea was mostly fluid, it lacked pieces of feces). Also my submandibular glands hurt and swell a little, and are painful when I eat. Though it is usual that my submandibular glands hurt only a little when I don't eat for a couple of hours, but when I ate 2 hours ago it hurt much more (and they felt kind of swelled about 5 hours ago). I also had a kid in my class that had a sickness that did not allow him/her to walk for a while (flu). Could this be the mumps or something similar? Or is it because I nearly starved myself on the diet? i have pain at the place at both sides of my neck near the bottom end of the jaw. not sure if it is my lymph nodes or submandibular glands.
