i have a 96 ford explorer with the premium sound(not jbl)w/o sub
i have a jvc headunit(not sure the model) that has only a sub out.
i have a 15" sub in a custom box with a power acoustik amp the amp and sub sounds good but as i turn it up it distorts the door speakers.
is there a way i can tap into the factory amp to use a cross over to filter out the lows and only have the mids and highs come through the door speakers? thanks
