Do I need parental premonition to get Beta Blockers (UK) ?

I visited the GP (UK NHS) about my Essential tremor, she sent me to see a doctor in the city NHS hospital. The doctor after carrying out tests recommended i took a Beta Blocker and gave me a sheet to hand to my local GP practice enabling me to start the prescription. My question is do i need to my mum to come with me to order the prescription, or i'm legally allowed to do this on my own? Thanks. (i'm not interested in your opinion regarding if i should take the medication)
