2004 Ford Ranger? Do I need to change the air bag module when doing a bucket seat conversion on a 2004 Ford Ranger or is the 2005 bucket seat that I just bought defective?
I used to have the 60/40 seats in my 2004 Ranger XLT FX4 4-door extended cab and then I converted it to the bucket seats with the center console. After I installed the bucket seat and plugged it in the air bag light started flashing and after the light flashes then it stays on. I also have another 2004 Ranger with the 60/40 set up and I put the 60 back in the FX4 and the problem was solved, so I'm also thinking maybe there's a bad sensor in the bucket seat I just bought.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
