After Pontious Pilate washed his hands of Jesus' condemnation, saying that he was innocent, the Jews, given a choice between freeing Christ or Barabbas, said "Give us Barrabas! and then, regarding Christ, "Crucify him! Crucify him! HIS BLOOD BE UPON US AND UPON OUR CHILDREN."
@ Picklesfrittlefish Pilate tried to free Christ, but the Jews wouldn't have it. Yes, the Roman soldiers technically killed Christ, but it was because of the Pharisiac Jews insistence that he be killed. The Jews are responsible for the murder of Jesus. PERIOD. How anyone can read the scripters and say different is beyond me. The only question, are they still responsible?

But the Romans killed Jesus because he said that the Kingdom of God was mightier than the Kingdom of Cesar. Or is it a sin to study history ?

Do Christians today still carry the blood curse of the innocents slaughtered in the Spanish Inquisition, the witch trials, any number of crusades...

No cos there's no such thing as a blood curse and even if there was it would only apply to the dscendants of the people who actually shouted those words.

What the whole Jewish population from throughout the ENTIRE roman empire was there that day ?

There were Jewish communities throughout the Empire so see how illogical that belief is?

Kind of a dumb question, because if the whole story were to true , then they had no choice, as it was prophecy that the Christ figure was executed. and beside which if one is a believer did not the Jesus person ask Himself(god the farther) to forgive them (the romans and the jews) for killing him (god the son) Just as well the whole story is a myth not even an original one at that

No because a composite character in a story can not be killed. Jesus was not a real person.

Yes, the Romans and Jews physically killed Jesus, but in reality, he died because of the whole world's sins- not just the Jews. It wasn't that the Jews beat Jesus, it was that Jesus beat death after his resurrection.
