I'm working on an advertising project in which I have to evaluate the target audience for a Norwegian Cruise Line ad that showcases their "Freestyle Cruising" feature http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruiser/cmsPages.html?pageId=FreestyleCruisingHome

I feel like the target audience is geared towards 35 - 45 year old couples but I'm not sure how these couples handle the their children staying home or with relatives

Or would these couples be taking their children on board?

This is what I currently have:

Upper middle class married couples, age 35 – 45, who hold professional jobs and have no children under 12. They are looking for a week-long getaway that doesn’t include a strict itinerary or extensive planning. They seek a casual atmosphere with the choice of dressing up for romantic evenings.

I have/Had children to enjoy life with not dump off on the relatives so I can escape. How ever. If I was in charge of a travel cruise ship not just the booking agent. I would dedicate a special cruise once a year to the married couple/singles who have raised there children to adults and the last one gone to college or out on there own have an invite to them a special 2-5 day trip to enjoy there new life together. Sort of like a job well done and well deserved. Include special Speakers, entertainment, motivational and/or spiritual.Depends on the ship/port etc.
