I've noticed a handful of dancers that I've encountered had a strong background in martial arts and are extraordinary in what they do such as hip hop/ jazz/ lyrical dancing.
Or is it the other way around? Dancers make great martial artists? One example I could think of is that young woman from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
So my question is, does the discipline and timing contribute to the emotion, feeling, and timing of dancing?
Are there any dancers out there who have a strong martial art background and do well besides "tricking" in breakdance?
Edit:
I didn't know Chuck Norris danced. Lol.
