Message: <blockquote data-quote="linz" data-source="post: 2025510" data-attributes="member: 230376"><p>I am thinking of one R&Ser who used to use the label Christian but doesn't anymore.  I suddenly feel that I have more in common with her than I did before.  I guess I just never felt like I could relate to someone who is as reasonable as I am with regard to things like science, homosexuality, politics, etc, and yet still feel comfortable calling herself a Christian and thus associating herself with a lot of people that I think are just horrible human beings.  So, simply by removing the label, I feel less alienated from her world view.  (Perhaps it isn't right that the word Christian has such a specific negative connotation in my mind, but it's Christians that made it that way, not me.)</p></blockquote><p></p>
