Do Samsung phones work in Japan?

I am going to Tokyo soon and I have a Samsung Tocco Lite phone.
I know most UK phones won't work in Japan but a small amount do. Will my phone work?
my sim is an o2 sim card and not a 3G

If you want to use the Samsung Tocco Lite phone in Japan you need to unlock it.To unlock it use unlock code.Get unlock code from the site Simpleunlocking.com and get free unlocking instructions from Mobileunlockguide.com unlock it step by step.Then use with any GSM network sim card in Japan.
