I recently moved to Texas (Dallas area) from New Jersey and everyone is like "OMG! New Jersey?" and Im like.. how is that a big deal? And then their minds are blown more when I say I'm from England, I've lived in Africa, and visited Japan as well.. which is a little understandable but when people are already amazed from me being from New jersey of all places.. its just funny. Do a lot of Texans travel much, or have experience living in other states or countries during their life? Maybe it's also cause I'm in high school, but I don't know. The people in my new high school are a lot less mature than the people in NJ, but its good in some ways because people are nicer and more open.
