I was just wondering, from the financial points of becoming an R.D (Registered Dietician), is it really worth going for my doctorate when I only need a Masters degree? I'm still earning my associates so I have some length of time to do this, but I'm working on it and want to set things up early on. So is it worth doing? On the one hand I may receive more business (I plan to be in a clinic instead of a hospital) with a doctorate which could result in greater funds, or in a hospital a higher paycheck anyway. However, those extra few years of schooling cost quite a lot which might overshadow what extra gains there may be. So what do you think?</p></blockquote><p></p>
