I can't take him seriously. LMFAO
No, they're supposed to be dramas.

And he starts with his race bullshit. LMFAO
And that "serious" music. So thought-provoking (sarcastic) stupid!
That Ossie Davis moment in "Jungle Fever" is so stupid ("As for the black man...")! XD Race bullshit!

Yea I do. I used to like his movies when I first started watching them in high school (I'm 21 now). But I watched "Jungle Fever" recently and I realized how cheesy and overdone it was. Spike Lee focuses on race too much in his movies. Although he is a director so maybe he's just reflecting on his life experiences in the movies he makes.

I agree with the original person who posted this question about the Ossie segment in Jungle Fever too. I cringe whenever I listen to that scene because the lines are so awkward.

Miracle At St. Anna was a bad joke too. I liked it at first though because I like World War II movies but the characters were poorly developed and the script needed an overhaul.

When I was in high school, I thought his movies would expand my mind and show me some of the racial tension that exists in America. But I came to realize that most of his movies are bullshit.

Well...actually Summer Of Sam made me laugh a lot...when the dog talked.
