I do. Ive had one for the last 2 weeks, and its not getting better, until I finally called the doctor. The last week, I didnt get a wink of sleep because I was coughing every 5 seconds. I had that jerking feeling to cough, and there was no way of keeping it in. My throat is so so so itchy, its hell!
Anyway, called doctor, told him my problem, he sent me home with cough medicine with giacifin/codein and it freakin works!!!! I tried all kinds of meds for my cough like mucinex, robitissin, dymatap, nyquil, and still couldnt sleep due to my coughing, until this.
Yes, codein is a narcatic, but you wont need to use it long enough to be dependent. more than 3 weeks is dangerous. But it works, and for those of you who are suffering, I wanted to let you know it works. But remember it is a narcotic, and you better follow the doctors direction or you will be sorry.
