...college? I discovered I liked cooking a month after I graduated high school last year. I haven't cooked real meals yet but I've been interested of learning about the culinary industry. I've cooked breakfast meals such as french toast, eggs, bacon and I've also learned how to cook garlic rice. I am currently in my Culinary arts course in a community college. Some of my classmates that I talk to said they have cooked many meals during their free time. Let me inform you that some of my classmates are 3 yrs ahead of me in this culinary arts course. In my spare time I don't look into trying to cook anything like they do because I am so busy with work and homework but i do look into recipes and watch cooking shows on tv. This culinary class that I am in right now is my first class for the course and sometimes I find it boring maybe because it is an introduction to chocolate class which I am not interested in because I wanna be a cook not a baker. I am really interested in learning about the culinary industry but I'm not sure if I have to have passion for it or just interest. I'm glad I barely started school 10 months ago. I am barely 18 yrs old. Please give me your opinions on what you think I should do. Thank you.
