I have two friends that I have known for twenty years. They both recently told me that they have had abortions.
Fay had two abortions while in college, twenty years ago, because she knew she would have to quit school for a while. Marsha had an abortion five years ago because she didn't want any children. She was in her fifth month.
Now they both regret their decision. Fay cannot get pregnant now and tries her best to just not think about the abortion.
Marsha grieves everyday over her abortion. As a Christian I tell her that she will be forgiven if she asks but she says she does not deserve to be forgiven for killing her own flesh and blood.
I feel bad for both of my friends. I have never had an abortion but I certainly did things in my youth that I regret.
