There's nothing special about celebrities. Out of the spotlight they're just like everyone else - some are prone to gossip & others don't bother. They may have a more balanced view of just how skewed most tabloid gossip is and therefor may be less likely to believe what they hear, but on the other hand they'll probably be better placed to hear a lot of rumours that won't make it into print.
