DO you think I can get the Amish to help my church stop same sex marriage?!?

My evangelical church is working hard to get a constitutional amendment to stop these sinful marriages. We have several Amish familieis living nearby.. do you think I could knock on their doors and ask them to help us gather signatures,etc. I also want to encourage them to convert to our beliefs becauseI have a very good church.
