Do you think i can make a deal with a dealer(89 Ford Tempo)?

Its an 89 Ford tempo, RUNS GREAT. Only 72,000 miles on it. Do you think i can make a deal with a dealer, if i add about 400 or 500 dollars on it to get a newer car? What do you think?
