Do you think Rock music will become mainstream (top selling music genre)

like back in 60's,70's,80's, 90's? From the late 90's maybe early 00's something changed and obviously Rock is not the top selling music genre anymore (Pop,Hip-hop,Dance in Europe etc have replaced it) will it come back?

By the way Prodigy Rule no matter what!
 
No, for the following two reasons. 1) Pop, as you pointed out, has become far more popular and generates far more revenue, and 2) today's rock by and large isn't nearly as good as rock from the sixties and seventies.
 
It totally should. Whatever this crap is that's attacking the radio need to STOP.
