is your husband funny? Mine is rarely funny, it usually comes at times he is not trying to be funny... And I have to take advantage and laugh my arse off which makes him more mad... Why would it make him mad?

Does he not need to lighten up already?

No one is a joke if she treasts you bad rethink this whole thing about wanting to stay.
 
Yes, my husband is funny. We laugh all of the time. We will make jokes about anything and everything which some people find disturbing. They think we don't understand the seriousness of situations; we do, laughter takes the edge off of everything.
 
Just tell him that it's times like that that you love him all the more and give him a big kiss.

You're not laughing at him in a nasty way, more in a way that you see and appreciate his humanity, and the things that make him special to you. You might want to tell him this.
 
Humour definitely helps lots of situations. My partner and I enjoy a good laugh quite often. He's naturally a bit of a comedian and I'm not bad with the quick comebacks. Your husband might be one of those people who prefer a good laugh instead of giving one.
 
We are both pretty funny and stay very laxed about many things...life is just too short
