dodge dakota crankshaft pulley?

im trying to remove the timing cover and got as far as trying to get the crankshaft pulley off i got all 6 bolts out but i cant get it to budge off why is this? there is a large bolt in the center but that bolts the vibration damper to the crankshaft i think the pulley has a big enough hole in the center to just come off so why cant i get the pulley off? i try to put a breaker bar on the large nut but all i do is turn the motor over does anyone have any suggestions to get me back on track its a 97 dakota with 5.2 v8

You need an impact gun to get that one loose.
