Does all the apps and 3rd party apps for all these new phones coming out like...

...android and Symbian OS? Do they all require large amount of internal memory to have a lot more apps, or can it be stored in the additional memory card? And one more thing can any1 tell me the differences between ROM and RAM in the phone system...also do we need data plan in order to use GPS on the phone? And any cheap place to buy refurbished phones? Thanks

You can store it in an sd card. that's what I'm doing
