Does any one have a male lab to breed our black female lab?

You need to check the AKC website and look under the "breeders" catogory to find one in your area. Contact one of them and see if any are willing to breed. Also, you shouldn't be asking random people online because both dogs need to be checked for genetic illnesses/defects before breeding.

There's more to breeding than having a purebred that's in heat....

Has she been tested for health conditions known to the breed (Prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, PRA and eye disorders)? Is she certified with a reliable kennel registry? Is she up to date on all her vaccinations? Has her temperament been evaluated?

Will the 'stud' you choose, also have all these requirements?

Will you be willing to provide proper medical care for the pups, while they're in your care (should have first round of vaccinations by the time they're 'sold').

These are just SOME of the things that should be looked into, when you think about breeding your pet. If you're going to breed, then do it correctly. Otherwise, spay/neuter and give all the Lab & Lab mixes in shelters, a chance at homes.

Just because she has papers doesn't mean i would let my dog breed with yours. Is she healthy? Does she have her clearances? There is so much more to breeding...please do some research and have her spayed

Has she finished her Championship?
Does she have OFA good or excellent hips? Same for elbows? Have her eyes been examined by a board certified opthalmologist? Has her heart been checked by a board certified cardiologist?
Has she been tested for brucellosis?

If your answer is "no" to any of these questions, you aren't ready to take on the responsibility of being a breeder...
