Does anybody else think an air pollution "watch" is funny?

Dallas is under an air pollution watch. I wonder if they are watching from George Bush's side of town?

It's so sad, this air pollution thing.
Is that why Al Gore has homes and mansions on both sides and in the middle of America?
South, North, East and West.
And if he can't escape air pollution at one of his hide-aways he can fly away on his jet
or circle the globe on his yacht.
There must be some clean air SOMEWHERE!...:-)

No not at all. Some people (Republicans) think that pollution is no big deal. But go out to L.A. I tried to look at the Hollywood sign out there and I couldn't even see it due to all of the smog.

Yeah but none of this answers Mr. Neutral's question - what is the point of WATCHING it? Does getting the photons bouncing off pollution to enter our eyes help somehow?
