What do you guys think of todays music compared to music from the 90s and early 2000s? Do you guys ever go to youtube and search a song that is old or do you listen to the music that is played today? Whenever I go to youtube I search the old music because I can't stand todays music. It all sounds the same.
yeah there may be some good music out there, but a lot of it sounds the same.

'...but a lot of it sounds the same.' Ever listen to popular music from the 50s? It's all the same. If anything, there is a far greater diversity of music now.

Surely, any audiophile or music lover does this. Music today just doesn't have the dynamics it once had; it's just not as pleasurable to listen to anymore. However there are some artists like Wynter Gordon that are amazing. She's my favorite. But I go on you-tube all the time to listen to older songs. The older-golden days were when music really made it's mark: it was about quality recordings then, not just about making money. And I do agree with you, main-stream music sounds all the same, rubbish.
