Does anyone find this coincidental about Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn?
Look, I know that a lot of people don't like the book Huckleberry Finn -- and neither do I. But does anyone find it sort of funny that, well, remember when Roger Clemens was said to discuss steroids with Andy Pettite in the locker room and then Roger Clemens said, "He mis-remembered". LOL! That's not a word. The word is "forgot"! But there was a Samuel Clemens, and that's just the kind of phraseology he would have used for Huckleberry Finn's narration, because Huck Finn said stuff like, "we were gonna learn him a lesson like we never learned him before" and "I reckon me and Jim paddled the dingy as fast as it's darn near gonna go when your muscles is sore". And doesn't it seem a coincidence that that author's name was Clemens, and then you've got Roger Clemens, who speaks the language like Huck Finn would have? And, come to think of it, can we draw other comparisons between Huck Finn and Roger Clemens?
