Message: <blockquote data-quote="laughter_every_day" data-source="post: 1527197" data-attributes="member: 334311"><p>Navy nurses are generally recruited from nursing schools, not trained in house.  You better get more info.  In general, if you accept a commission as an officer, or you enlist as a sailor, you will not be going to school while on active duty.  As an officer there may be an initial service obligation, but after that you serve at the pleasure of the president.  As an enlisted sailor, you enlist and can re-enlist for a period of years.  Sounds to me like you don't even know if you are enlisting or accepting a commission.</p></blockquote><p></p>
