At my job, I am responsible for managing all the food stuff. I would like a piece of software, maybe a CD ROM or download, moderate file size and price (50-100 USD)...What I really would like is a chance to not only put in my own recipes, but to translate ingredients to shopping list, and to be able to rescale recipes to work for varying numbers of people. A huge bonus would be a database of new recipes to try (healthful, economical, simple) OR a nutrition facts calculator so I can monitor the balancing of meals more easily.I have been doing everything longhand for about a year but due to an expansion of our program, it's about to get more complicated. I already know that much of my work is tedious and repetitious, and it would be good to have my info stored someplace. It's only going to get crazier from here.Any experiences you want to share with various programs would be really helpful.Oh yes....and Windows Vista compatible. That seems to be tricky sometimes until the world catches up to Vista, or until the bugs get worked out.
