I heard this story on NPR a while back but can't remember the name. A man who made up lies about an imaginary person to get out of work, stumbles on a world where he actually meets the man he made up and all the different misfortunes he made up for him to get out of work. He then vows to make up happy lies to get out of work from then on so the person he made up can start living a good life. If anyone knows the name or where I may find it would be greatly appreciated.
