ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8? my car didn't pass the smog check and the paper work reads (Fail EGR Functional I was told that I can clean it my self and put it back. Hope someone can help me please my name is Josie
Firewall passenger side,by the transmission dipstick tube.Most of the problem to the EGR come from carbon deposit blocking passage under the intake neck,connecting the intake manifold to the throttle body.Easier to remove and clean than the EGR valve itself.
