does anyone think that the paper s and tv try to dumb us down with celebrity gossip

and etc? so that the government and the banks can just rob us blind,while were all distracted with articles bout Jade Goody and other celeb's.
 
I think it's a matter of what we KNOW is true,stuff we THINK is true, stuff we DON'T want to believe, and stuff that is MADE UP! simple as that.
 
Jade Goody is a perfect example of this.
I know I'm not alone in thinking this circus is crass to the extremes.
Let us concentrate on more important issues.
There are many people in Jade's position who would cringe at the thought of all the publicity.
I'm sure their families would not want to see their loved ones exposed like this.
 
i don't think they are trying to dumb us down but I do think we all look for a diversion from the doom and gloom and they know that.

the young people might get there money stolen but yea i think everybody knew that celebrity gossip isnt what they make it seem to be
but buying magazines and reading about celebrities is still pretty interesting even if they stretch the truth
