Just because they have that power?
Like it Brad Pitt really the "most gorgeous man on earth" or is it just because he has the fame and riches to go with it.
 
I don't care if Brad were rich of not...I'd still do him LOL. he's hot!

Back to the question tho...I don't think it's a money issue that makes a guy sexy unless the female was a money-hungry gold-digger. There are some celebs out there who are just plain Ugly!!!
