Does classical music only use acoustic, traditionally orchestral instruments?

Like, say if a composer writes music specifically for electric Rhodes piano, or if they compose an otherwise classical piece of music that contains an electric guitar (or even distorted guitar) part alongside the rest of the orchestra. Would it still be considered classical (contemporary, 21st century, or otherwise) or would it cease to be classical music? What about even more unusual instruments like the use of exotic instruments from Asia or the use of electronic samplers and sequencers in the music? Is the line between classical music and not classical music well defined, or is it blurred when it comes to instrument usage?
